Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzales-Collins, who is she is a Mexican American broadcaster. Her current job is with ESPN as a reporter for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. The first time she worked at ESPN in the year 2016. The daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been for a long time, starting at the age of nine. This ability allowed her to land her first work at Univision, Miami. She could work with producers from across the country on programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her first job was as an reporter at CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg affiliate after that. Then she moved to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 in order to join the team of reporters at one of the Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, and Fox2 News. Covering stories on immigration and drug trafficking from both sides the border with Mexico. She was the reporter for five minutes of the p.m. Spanish newscast a reporter and later anchor of the 9 p.m. newscast, which was in English, and another reporter for the 10 p.m. Spanish newscast. Anchor duties for weather or sports were regularly requested. In the following, she anchored and also reported on Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was appointed to more duties. She also covered all of the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason and finals FC Dallas as well. Additionally, she was the producer of Univision 23's local sports program Accion Deportiva Extra, on which she served as anchor. She was promoted as anchoring sports for Despierta America Deportes' morning show. The anchor also worked as anchor for sports on Primer Impacto, a magazine show that was broadcast on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collins' parents are born in Veracruz Mexico. At some point they moved into Mexico City where she was born on November 22 1985. There is also a sister. The family moved into Miami in 1992 after they left Mexico. Her parents divorced soon after in 1995. Her mother married one of the naval architects named Fabio Fajardo who passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. The summer of 2006, she had one week with her sibling at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl worked there. Antonietta was an incoming senior in high school however, she was very aware of her professional goals. She went to Mount Union University to determine if they suited her. She discovered that she enjoyed the university and that the school offered the major she wanted. When she finished her high-school education, she enrolled in the university to study media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and the manager of WRMU where she's a participant. They formed a strong friendship. Professor Mark Bergmann influenced her with his enthusiasm for journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
